Jordan Benoit
Jordan was born and still resides in the Dallas, TX area. He was raised in the suburb of Richardson, TX and attended one of the metropolitan area's most prestigious schools, Jesuit College Preparatory School, in the heart of north Dallas. Aside from writing, Jordan attended the University of North Texas, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art, and now continues his endeavors on campus as an adjunct professor.
Not only is he one of the co-authors of LIT, but he is also the series' artist. He creates illustrations in several mediums, depicting the world of the Legends in Time series, which gives the audience an opportunity to visualize through the eyes of the authors the many characters, creatures, and cities that inhabit the world. A portion of his artwork is displayed on the LIT website and the LIT myspace page, with much more to come.
Jordan has been writing fiction since his adolescent years. He is well versed in the fantasy realm and, as such, the majority of his writings fall into the genre. He continues to write fantasy, expanding the ever-growing Legends in Time world with his first solo tale, A Scourge on the Shunii, due out in early 2010. On top of that, Jordan is also continuously working on his own science fiction universe, with the release of his first installment in the Makhaira Chronicles, Liberty or Death, also set for 2010.
Vincent Hobbes
Vincent founded Hobbes End Publishing in 2004 with a vision that would take a number of years to come to fruition. In the same year, he published the non-fiction self-help book, Feeling Your Way to Happiness by Chris Norton. Over the years Hobbes End built its foundation on many things, but the dream was always to convert the company into a fiction book publishing company.
In 2006, Vincent sold the company to publisher Jairus Reddy and the dream began.
Now writing full time, Vincent, along with co-authors Jordan Benoit and Nathan Palmer, began the epic series, Legends in Time. In late fall of 2007, the first book of the series was published by Hobbes End – The Contrived Senator.
Working steadfast, Vincent and company released the second installment of the series in 2008 – Exiles. Gaining momentum, the writer was now able to focus his efforts on creating literature.
In 2009, Vincent Hobbes (along with Benoit) is gearing up to release the third installment of the Legends in Time series, Plight of the Warrior.
Vincent also has numerous projects as well as solo novels that will be released in 2010. His first project is a compilation of short stories. A variety of upcoming authors in the industry have teamed with Mr. Hobbes, and together they have created the first volume of Vincent Hobbes Presents: The Endlands. Mostly bizarre and mind-boggling stories, Hobbes hopes to recreate what The Twilight Zone once did.
Later in 2010, Vincent will also be releasing his first solo novel, The Blue Bus. It is a dystopian thriller that takes place in the not so distant future.
Other future projects include his next novel, Obsession, which will be released in the fall of 2010. Also, volume two of The Endlands will be compiled and released around the same time.
Vincent lives with his wife in north Texas.
